Park Rules:

  • To ensure a safe and enjoyable visit for everyone, all guests must wear appropriate clothing, including shirts, pants, and shoes at all times.  Please avoid clothing or tattoos with offensive words or images, and anything too revealing, so all families feel comfortable.  That’s right, some folks ain’t comfortable around people not wearing pants.
  • Gatorland reserves the right to ask guests to change or add to their wardrobe if Gatorland leadership, in its own judgment, determines that someone is violating this policy.  Just be respectable, it ain’t hard.
  • Children (3 through 12 years) and guests under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a guest age 16 or older to enter Gatorland.  They don’t always behave themselves if adults ain’t watching
  • No food of any kind is allowed in the park, including animal feed.  You don’t eat animal food and our animals don’t eat human food.
  • No coolers, picnic baskets, or similar items designed to carry food or beverages.  Seriously, no park allows that.
  • Guests under the influence of alcohol or drugs will not be permitted in the park or allowed to participate in any additional experiences.  Don’t be like Otis from Mayberry.
  • All luggage must be checked and secured at admissions or stored out of sight in your vehicle.
  • Pets – Animals that do not meet the definition of a Service Animal as defined by the ADA will not be permitted to enter the park.  The only approved animals are specially trained dogs and believe it or not, miniature horses.
  • Service Animals – At Gatorland, Trained Service Animals are welcome at the park. Animals that do not meet the definition of a Service Animal as defined by the ADA will not be permitted to enter the park. For the safety of our guests, all service animals must be on a leash or in a harness and controlled at all times.
  • All bags, purses, and strollers are subject to search. We promise not to laugh at what we find.
  • Smoking is permitted but only in designated areas.  Please be respectful of others and look for cigarette receptacles.
  • Gatorland does not allow weapons of any kind inside the park. While we respect Florida’s legal rights for both concealed and open carry, our insurance man in a fancy suit says absolutely no weapons of any kind are permitted on property.
  • By entering the park, guests voluntarily assume all risks related to Covid-19 and any other communicable or infectious diseases.  Ewwww.
  • Media – Any media interested in filming or taking photographs inside the park for commercial or media use must receive prior authorization and approval from our Public Relations department.  We can help you get some incredible content.
  • Drones and other unmanned aerial vehicles with or without recording capabilities are strictly prohibited.  Don’t make us use our Cruise Missiles.
  • Picketing, distributing literature, petitioning, or soliciting is not allowed.  Then again, we’ll let protesters stand in our alligator ponds and whine all they want.
  • HOURS – Open daily 10:oo AM to  5:00 PM.

Gatorland has been a fun, family-lovin’ alligator park since 1949.  Your cooperation to be mindful of these rules will help us provide a beautiful day full of Fun, Smiles, and Special Memories for everyone.  Failure to follow rules and just good ol’ common sense may result in dismissal from the park or swim lessons with the alligators.
