Gatorland Code of Conduct

At Gatorland, we’re committed to creating Fun, Smiles, and Special Memories for all guests, staff, and animals. In addition to our park rules, we ask that every guest observe the following principles during their visit:

  • Please help maintain a welcoming environment for guests of all ages, backgrounds, and abilities. Treat all fellow guests, park personnel, and animals with courtesy and respect. Refrain from any form of harassment, intimidation, or verbal/physical abuse, including the use of obscenity or fighting. Let’s all play nice in the sandbox.
  • Behavior that endangers others, involves illegal activity, harassment, or refuses to follow staff direction may result in removal from the park, denial of re-entry, or other consequences.  Don’t make us use them other consequences.
  • Guests under the influence of alcohol or drugs will not be permitted in the park or allowed to participate in any additional experiences.  Don’t be like Otis from Mayberry.
  • Respect the natural environment and animal habitats within the park. Stay within designated guest paths and observe all safety and animal interaction guidelines. Do not tease, throw objects at, or otherwise harass animals. Unless in designated areas, petting and touching wildlife, including birds, is prohibited.  At the very least, our animals will bite you, and some will eat you.
  • Help maintain cleanliness: dispose of trash properly and avoid littering, which can impact wildlife.
  • Follow all posted instructions, announcements, and guidance from Gatorland staff.  Some of them have training.
  • Do not attempt to bypass or disregard safety protocols, barriers, or signage. Access to experiences depends on the safety rules for each experience.  We ain’t responsible for you ignoring our rules and hurtin’ yourself.
  • Guests must report all injuries before leaving the park on the day of their visit. For safety reasons, certain restrictions apply for some of our experiences. Information is available at Guest Services, at the experience itself, and on our website.
  • Wear appropriate clothing, including shirts, pants, and shoes, at all times. Clothing or accessories that are inappropriate, could be misconstrued as staff uniforms or emergency personnel, or that pose a safety/hygiene concern are prohibited. We reserve the right to deny admission to or remove any person wearing attire that we consider inappropriate or attire that could detract from the experience of other Guests.   We can’t believe we have to tell you to wear pants, but…here we are.
  • We reserve the right to deny admission, prevent entry or require a person already admitted to leave Gatorland, without refund, liability or compensation, for failure to comply with any of these policies, for unsafe, illegal or offensive behavior, to ensure safety, security or order, or if we consider that the circumstances otherwise so require, in our sole and absolute discretion.

It’s basically just good ol’ common sense.  Y’all come on in, have a good time and enjoy Florida’s original, family-owned theme park since 1949.
