Protect * Conserve * Educate
“Gatorland Global® was created in 2018 to provide a dedicated conservation program for Gatorland. Our simple mission of Gatorland Global is to Protect, Conserve, and Educate. Our specific programs are designed to protect alligators and crocodiles in Florida, while providing dedicated resources to support conservation research of critically endangered crocodiles across the globe. The final leg of our mission is to educate people on the importance of alligators and crocodiles to our ecosystems, to respect their power and beauty, and how to safely live with them in Florida and in communities around the world.”
In 2024, we sought to formalize and advance our reach to save alligators and crocodiles through the official development of a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit to provide a dedicated resource to help other conservation organizations locally and around the world. Gatorland has been the leader in alligator safety, conservation, and public education since 1949, but we believe there is so much more we can accomplish together.
