Job Title: Gift Shop Cashier
Department: Gift Shop/Retail Operations
Reporting Relationship: Gift Shop Manager
Work Schedule: Minimum 40-Hour Week
Status: Full-Time/Non-Exempt/Hourly
Starting Wage: $7.50/hr
Summary of Duties:The employee will be responsible for operating a cash register while strictly adhering to Gatorland’s Cash Handling Policy. The employee will also be responsible for the neatness of their designated areas while promoting great customer service and our company’s mission statement of “providing fun, smiles and special memories to all of our guests.”
Primary Duties:
• Provide good customer service
• Operate cash register
• Accuracy in cash handling
• Maintain neatness of area
• Performs other duties as requested
• Able to be cross-trained in both gift shop and admissions.
Education, experience and specialized skills and knowledge requirements:
Previous experience in retail environment a plus. Must have cash handling experience. Must be able to stand on feet for long periods of time. Must be able to communicate well with others. Must be available for all shifts as they rotate during the summer months.

Job Title: Facilities Worker – Level 1
Department: Facilities
Reporting Relationship: Manager of Facilities
Work Schedule: Minimum, 40-Hour Week
Status: Full-Time/Non-Exempt/Hourly
Starting Wage: $8.00 per hour
Summary of Duties: Provide direct support in and throughout the park with regards to maintenance. Assist with the day to day work assignments involving electrical and plumbing repairs. Will cross train in areas of custodial for emergency coverage, will be called to assist with alligator and crocodile care. In addition, provide coverage on an assigned area for routine upkeep.
Primary Duties:
• Ongoing construction and upgrades of exhibits
• General repair, maintenance, and painting
• Carpentry, plumbing, air conditioning and electrical work
• Special event work
• Waste Water Management exposure
• Periodic landscape work
• Assist with alligator and crocodile moves, feeding, capturing and care, including the cleaning of pens
• Performs other duties as requested
Education, Experience, and Specialized Skills and Knowledge Requirements:
Must have a current Florida Driver License. Basic understanding of electrical, plumbing and air conditioning. Automotive experience a plus. Must be able to lift 80 lbs. Overtime and holiday hours are to be expected. Must be willing to work in inclement weather. Must be able to read and write fluent English.

Job Title: Cash Room Auditor
Department: Executive
Reporting Relationship: Cash Room Supervisor
Work Schedule: Minimum, 40-Hour Week
Status: Full-Time/Non-Exempt/Hourly
Starting Wage: $9.00-$10.00 (Depending Upon Experience)
Summary of Duties: Responsible for recording revenue, sales tax and reconciling daily cash receipts and credit cards. Responsible for maintaining Internal House fund, data entry, preparing daily deposits, and handling of all petty cash occurrences.
Primary Duties:
• Distribute and log all cash bags
• Verify cash bags are returned daily
• Furnish management with pre audited sales data
• Balance revenues with cash receipts
• Investigate any credit card or cash discrepancies and provide a written report to management
• Prepare cash bags for next business day
• Balance and prepare daily deposits. Balance vault
• Order for cash/currency when needed and provide change throughout the park as needed
• Perform miscellaneous cash drawer audits as required
• Perform other duties as requested
Education, Experience, and Specialized Skills and Knowledge Requirements:
Minimum High School graduate. Prefer2-3 years experience as a bank teller, hotel night auditor, or extensive cash handling. Must be able to operate 10-Key calculator. Prefer working knowledge of Peachtree Accounting and Excel. Must be able to communicate well with others. Must have problem solving skills.
